Zoom for Healthcare

Welkin Health integrates with Zoom for Healthcare to enable HIPAA-compliant video visits within the care workflow. Zoom is fully integrated with Welkin and allows you to dial and track video calls for any patient communication.

How it works

The Zoom integration surfaces in Welkin in two ways:

1. Encounters as video calls — when a care team member creates an encounter and sets it as a video call, the Zoom link (populated with the clinician's Zoom ID) appears on the calendar after selecting a patient and saving

2. Patient messages — the Zoom join link is included in messages sent to the patient (automated or ad hoc) using a message template configured in Designer

Setup

To set up Zoom for Healthcare in Welkin, see:

• Zoom: Telehealth in Designer — configure Zoom in message templates and link user Zoom IDs

• Zoom ID — manage clinician Zoom IDs

• Zoom Waiting Rooms — configure waiting room settings

The Zoom for Healthcare integration must be enabled for your environment by Welkin. Contact your CSM or Implementation Manager to enable it.
